D.C. Carter provides strategic home buying and selling services to his clients across the Central Coast. Since first moving to the area in 1993, he’s been passionate about this beautiful piece of California and he is driven to help others with their real estate needs, so that they may enjoy it here as much as he does.
D.C. is a Central California native that relocated several times, buying and selling houses of his own. This has given him a real understanding of what it’s like to walk in his clients’ shoes. He first became involved in real estate as an investor. D.C. bought and sold REO and pre-foreclosure properties, fixing them up to maximize their value. He negotiated short-sales and did pro bono work to help homeowners keep their houses during the wild real estate swings of recent years.
D.C.’s pre-real estate career was in media and marketing. He managed operations for one of the Central Coast’s largest broadcast companies, he created strategic marketing plans for dozens of high-profile local businesses as an associate at the Central Coast’s oldest marketing agency and he was Director of Marketing for a chain of computer stores headquartered locally. His marketing and negotiating expertise is now put to work every day for his clients. His knowledge of modern technology and marketing channels, mixed with his old-fashioned work ethic is what makes him the right choice as a real estate agent to guide the buying or selling of property.
